Wash the frame with a wet cloth to remove all glue residue after 3 hours.

Tutorial; Cut, Thumbnail and glue a frame Sand off sharp edges---the top is usually smooth, but the outside corners need taming. Use 400 sandpaper; sometimes an fingernail emory board is handy to access JUST the cut edge.
     Fill the crack with a pencil of compatible color.  Minwax's Blendfil from Home Depot has a wide array of color pencils to choose from.

Wipe excess color wax from the frame with a soft paper towel.
