Delivering uniform tension with the pneumatic stretching machine...

Canvas Stretching machine Tutorial 6. For a 2 ¼” wood frame, put both  2 ¼” sliders in the back track. Position the sliders about 1” in from inside of wood frame. (they slide back and forth easily)

Canvas Stretching machine Tutorial 7. Facing the image, drop the loose end of the canvas in the opening formed when you

put your foot on the pedal.

Watch your fingers!

8. Keep your foot on the pedal while you lay the frame down and pull it forward till it drops over the slider.
Tuck the canvas uniformly in the slot. (The end of the canvas catches sometimes; jostled it to fit)

9. Release the foot pedal WITHOUT your fingers anywhere near the slot.

Note- the bar is squeezing against the canvas now.
