How Paul stretches a canvas for the wall using Gallery Stretcher-60
 (150 psi air compressor and GREX)



Prepare an image using these guidelines:   For gallery wrap=add 1.25" on all 4 sides of actual picture content AND Add 2" more of white space on all 4 sides so there is enough room for stapling. Print Canvas using Pro9800 7800Canvas_PK (tone down whites) Cure for 3 days before framing

1. Turn on air compressor; adjust pressure to 95 (right knob)

The left knob builds to 135-150 automatically.

Tutorial; how to machine stretch canvas 2. On the right hand of the stretcher,  turn Black knob till it reads 35# pressure

(thinner material than canvas will use a lower pressure)

 

Paul has placed a brown paper under the canvas to keep the image clean.

Find the reflection pattern at the bottom of the image and crease canvas

 

4. Put the frame, raised outside edge down, on the canvas, snuggled up to the crease (Be sure it is centered left to right also)
